4Season Rubber Compound

Maxxis’ 4Season rubber compound is formulated to work in all conditions and all weather, ensuring excellent performance year round.

The 4Season-High Mileage compound variant – available on select models – uses additional fillers to further maximize tread life.

MaxxProtect

MaxxProtect is a 3mm thick piece of rubber that is placed under the tread area to improve puncture resistance.

E-Bike Ratings

Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 25 km/h.

For heavier, more powerful, and faster e-bikes, Maxxis offers E50 rated tires. E50 tires conform to European Union ECE-R75 specifications and are approved for use up to 50 km/h.

Reflective Sidewall Stripe

To enhance visibility and rider safety in low light conditions, Maxxis offers select specs of our urban tires with a reflective sidewall stripe. This is denoted by a “REF” in the Tech column of the spec tables.
